Good Old Games has today announced that in celebration of the apparent world ending on December 21st (conveniently on a Friday) the digital distributor is commencing a "End of World" sale from today until December 21st 12:59AM AEST to give gamers a little joy before the world apparently explodes according to some Mayans.
Whether the Mayans were right and tomorrow spells the end of everything is anyone's guess, however GOG.com urges the gamers worldwide to remain calm and play games like there's no tomorrow. Just in case.

More than 125 games are offered right now in 17 bundles. Titles in each bundle will be up to 75% off when you buy all games (or if you own some of them and complete the bundle), or up to 50% off individual games if you buy them separately.
You can check out the full list of games on sale over here, including The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, assorted indie titles and even some titles that you may have forgotten.

It's hardly the same as Y2K, it's not like they're selling the games cheap because they expect the world to end. Could you imagine that? "Buy these games now, you've only got 24 hours left to play them!"
