The brawler genre has been a mixture of many different fighting game titles, including the very successful Super Smash Bros. by Nintendo. With the success of this series in particular, it isn't a surprise to see Sony trying their hand at a brawler title of their own with recently released PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

While the game offers various amounts of similarities between Super Smash Bros., the big question is what does it offer that is different to Nintendo's brawler? We got our own expert Dave Kozicki to take on the challenge of Sony's first brawler game to see what he thought.
