A new title in IC's successful IL-2 Sturmovik combat flight simulator series has been announced, with the Russian publisher revealing the development of IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad, in the works at the newly-founded IC Game Studios --a developer formed in partnership with Rise of Flight veterans 777 Studios.
“1C is proud to take the next step in flight-simulation history with 777 Studios, a company and team that has grown to be one of the best flight-simulation developers in the world and has proven that their attention to detail and product quality speaks volumes about their talent and dedication,” said Nikolay Baryshnikov, VP of 1C Company. “We look forward to bringing a new era of development and spirit of enjoyment to the combat flight-simulation community together.”No media assets were released with the game's announcement, however a press release did mention that both single-player and multiplayer scenarios would be included, and an intial client release is scheduled for 2014 on PC. Further explaining that "both 1C and 777 Studios see the flight-simulation genre as an important one for PC gaming with a dedicated fan-base that is eager to support interesting and immersive products.".
Shouldn't that be "Rise of Flight veterans, 777 Studios"?
