By joining The Order, the organisation within the world of DmC formed to fight the demons, users of the app are challenged to undertake different quests and achieve specific goals, to attain points towards their style ranking. Completion of missions will result in exclusive unlockable rewards, such as wallpapers and ringtones as well as points which can then be redeemed within DmC Devil May Cry for Red Orbs, the in-game currency used to upgrade and unlock Dante’s skills. You can find the app available now for free on Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store, however no word on a Windows version.
DmC Devil May Cry will be available on January 15th 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and a later date for PC.
I thought DmC was the TLA for Devil may cry, so saying DmC Devil may Cry is the same as saying Devil May Cry Devil May Cry in which case, you may as well say it three times and pretend you've replaced Hail Mary.
I suppose wikipedia lists it as DmC too, but it really just looks silly to me :s
It's a Japanese publisher thing, they tend to view our alphabet differently than us, and seem to like the visual aesthetic of certain words/initialisms.
When the Grasshopper Manufacture guys were promoting Shadows of the Damned, they kept asking people to refer to it as DmD.
