could ausgamers host the new planetside 2 download file that is coming out in a couple of days

The release client isn't out yet afaik. SOE's support article on the clients said it'd be available when the game releases.

I highly doubt soe is going to be able to offer the client to everyone at decent download rates tbh... local mirror would be shit hot

I didn't have any speed issues with the beta client, so hopefully they'll have big enough tubes to do that again on launch lol.

But yeah, doubtful they'll have a mirror client people can just download, which is annoying.

7.3gb on steam

was something like 6gb through the launcher off the website and I had lightning quick download speed - very impressive launch by SOE... except for the fact that I can't log in now :P

I'm downloading it now and it's 6.8gb for me.
