CVG has a report on details that will appear in the January issue of the UK's Xbox World magazine (out in December) which will feature an 8-page "expose" on everything they know about Microsoft's Xbox 360 successor, which the magazine is claiming will just be called "Xbox".
"Unless something really dramatic changes, everything we reveal in our penultimate issue will be revealed long before E3 in June," the magazine's editor, Dan Dawkins, reportedly told CVG. Most of the reveal is likely to focus on AR Glasses, a unique or "innovative" controller, directional sound, Kinect 2.0, a Blu-ray player and TV output and input. It's also reported that dev kits currently in the hands of developers feature 8GB of RAM and a CPU with "four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores".
The feature article, however, remains speculative and all images (pictured right) of the purported console are actually just internally-created mock-ups (that look mighty impressive, we might add). And despite the magazine having a solid track record for reporting accurate leaks, until Microsoft officially unveil "Xbox" themselves, we just have to wait and see. The CVG article also says the January issue of PSM3 will feature a similar write-up on the PS4, though there are no details on-hand for what that magazine is reporting.
