It's illegal to have milk crates in your possession unless you're one of those registered business types that actually owns them. Same as AustraliaPost tubs.
I'd be interested to get a dairy crate molding company to make me some milk crates with "Property of Pauls" written on them. Then walk around the streets carrying them. If a cop stops you, say it's a prop you made for a home movie.
Then in court you can prove you had the crates made, LOL.
Just take them from a shop, most of the time if you ask they'll let you take them noone really cares. The milk companies will care if your making money out of it but if your only taking a few for storage they couldn't care less.
