This HAS to be Deans last year surely... The bloke with the most mind boggling team selection ever, is back again with a team full of useless WaraTARDS and has been tourists.

I'm hoping we cop a flogging, just so we can get rid of Deans and start a fresh next year... With the team we have, there's a fair chance we're going to struggle even against the pumas...

Berrick Barnes is pretty good and might not kick it out on the full to start play.

What a circus... full season of Super 15 and we still don't have enough skills to hold onto the ball...

It's cool. We have a heap of Tah's in the team... even though they were terrible this season. I don't understand the selection criteria the Aussies were picked on.

Score was flattering in the end... the AB's spilled some ball and let us off... Not impressed, and depending on how the Puma's go, i can see the wallabies sitting on the bottom winless this year. Sigh....

Well at least if that happens it should SURELY be the last we see of Deans... Surely....

The only reason we didn't get embarrassed was due to some very unusual AB charity when they spilled the ball heading towards the try line. Can think of 3 big breaks that on any other day would have been tries....

Looks like the Pumas copped a flogging at the hands of the Saffa's so maybe we won't be dead last, just 3rd... Hope thats enough to see the end of Deans anyways...

yep, so lets bring quade cooper at 10. that'll really fix our defensive problems.
the guy had about 2 - 3 mediocre games. he's still a top 3 fullback in the world.
the wallabies biggest problem is the lack of centres. we have guys that "can play in the centres" but nobody is a true 12 or 13 with some burst ability.

to be honest, it was a wake up call to both wallabies and ABs. both had a fair shocker.

Not sure if sarcastic or not about QC lol, but i think he's come along way from the turnstile he used to be.

I feel bad for Kurtley though, he really did have a shocker, but then so did the AB's by their standards...

Next game AB's will put 40 on us i reckon. We've lost Pocock too, and if Genia insists on this ridiculous slow ball feed from the ruck, it aint gonna matter if our centres make any line breaks cause the AB's defense will be back and ready to intercept the next phase every time....

sarcastic :P i'll admit, he's got some great skills and can be fantastic with the ball in hand but one big or late hit throws him off his game completely and the rest of the backline suffers for it. not a good attribute to have at 10...at least not at international level. that said, i'd love to be proven wrong. it's unforunate he was injured so badly because i think he just needs a solid off-season to work on his defence.

massive loss with pocock. his ball pilfering skills are unbelievable. now is the time for hooper to step up.

and completely agree with genia. He commands the piggy ball so well and there's nothing wrong with slowing things down but wallabies backline absolutely flourishes with quick ball. he needs to let loose more often.

i say bring QC but start on the bench. if Beale has another shocker by half time, QC 10, Barnes 12, Drew Mitchell 14 and AAC 15. I could see Beale having a blinder in the next game though.

Yeah here's hoping mate... I'd love it if he did because he is such a good player when on his game.

Losing Pocock does suck, but yeah Hooper's time is now and i definitely think he can step up to the plate. He played a blinder of a S15 season and i was really hoping the reds would poach him.

I was impressed with QC though when he started back playing again though. I thought he looked a lot better in defence and even a bit stronger... like the break had done him good, and he had bulked it on in the gym... Time will tell though, S15 aint nothing like playing against the AB's...

Run on Reserves: To be advised

No real surprise but you'd have to keep Beale on the bench. Kepu and Pocock out on top of our injury list including Horwill, McCabe and J O'C
Upside is we now have a solid defender in the centres...downside is SBW has a good 20kg on Barnes haha.

I like the 10 / 11 / 12 combo there but they are going to need good drive and quick ball to be effective. 13 - 15 also very like-able.

QC's time to shine, he looked alright towards the end of the S15, just lacked match fitness. See how he goes at Eden park tho. The kiwi's love him and he copes really well under the pressure... sarcasm. Can't help but wonder if this is another one of those Deans specials which secretly aids his homeland.

Ben Alexander is a reliable replacement for Kepu though, with plenty of xp. Gill should bench for Hooper which is another good sub option.

Bealle on the bench, will be out for redemption, Faainga on the bench too i reckon which is another handy sub cause he's not playing too bad, not awesome, but good enough...

I agree. QC and Genia work really well together and with Horne playing off Barnes all year, hopefully we'll get some flowing ball.
And if someone gets injured in the backline, we have a fair amount of flexibility with our bench.

Faainga on the bench too i reckon which is another handy sub cause he's not playing too bad, not awesome, but good enough...

Faainga is one of those players who aren't the greatest players but they just play their position well. He won't really have a bad game but he won't make or break a team either.
His brother on the other hand I don't really rate at all.

Is this QC first starting Wallaby game since RWC? Hopefully he comes out trying to prove his position. He plays great against RSA but NZ, not so much. If he can keep a cool head, he'll be fine.

Waratahs - laughing stock of Super Rugby.

Waratahs - supply 8 players to Wallby starting 15.

Not ideal.
