It is an Irish show and piss funny, if you liked Father Ted or Black Books you'll probably like this
There is only 2 seasons (13 episodes) but it's bloody good. It's filmed live in a studio and occasionally camera's can be seen and they ham it up ad-lib style.
I love the fact that when they fuck up they pause, make a joke about it and then go back and redo the scene over. Seen many bugger ups like camera's moving through the set, camera's breaking windows, actors using the wrong names and they just roll with it. Fucking funny show.
You judge your viewing around adverts aimed at the mass of unwashed filth that the general public seem to be (based on shows like THE FUCKING SHIRE being allowed to be produced)?
Twas just a light hearted comment, but there have been many, many things I have seen that were great but looked shithouse in the adverts because of the moments they choose to um advertise the program/movie with.
I've just nabbed it from a mate of mine who pitched it as 'stay with it for season 1 til you work out what it is, and it gets better and better from there'.
If I'd only watched half an episode of Black Books, I'd have missed out on some brilliant fuckin jokes!
