Im looking for suggestions of indie games to play with a mate that are coop or versus. One of us is running a laptop so im restricted to lower visual quality games. Not interested in RPGs or MMORPGs.

I already own the following:
Terraria
Minecraft
Cubemen
Rock of Ages
Frozen Synapse
Greed Corp
Gattling Gears
Galcon Fusion
Magicka

Any other ideas? Thanks.

UPDATE:
Had a thought, any RTS recommendations? They cant be very graphically intense though.

Saints Row the 3rd is actually surprisingly good co-operatively.
Serious Sam 3 is much the same.

They aren't *great* games on their own, but the co-op element really makes them a lot more interesting.
Either can be had cheap at places like G2Play.net.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is pretty good fun Multiplay also, but not a conventional 'co-op' game.
Borderlands is pretty reasonable for a wasz with mates too...

Sorry, missed the 'one tied to a laptop' part of the OP.

Check out Co-Optimus for the real skinny on co-op games.
Maybe some bot bashing in Star Craft, or Warcraft 2?
.If hunting for old-school FPS, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood or Shadow Warrior were also great for co-op and the lulz (tho will take some wrangling to play the game under current OS')

I don't know how many times I smashed those games way back when.

Good suggestions so far but doubt the laptop can handle many of the FPS mentioned. Its more a work laptop than gaming.

Havent tried doom era games as they were before my time. Will check them out.

Got portal 1+2 and trine 1+2 but thanks for suggestion.

Killed a few hours playing minecraft hunger games this arvo. Good fun but lag means fights are difficult. Plus, early game survival seems to be a combo of luck based on food found+iron/cobblestone found+enemies near by once the 2 min invincibility wears off. Found the servers here with one starting every few minutes:

Well I suggest updated versions of Doom era games like Hexen, Heretic, RoTT and errr, Doom. Make you have have versions that enable mouselook etc.

Trine was awesome. Will buy Trine 2 for sure. Played through the first coop on one screen with two xbox controllers with my gf and she loved it.

zDoom + Doom & Doom II wads = bliss

Then when you've finished those, get some custom 32 map co op wads, there are actually some really good ones out there.

On console (and I think PC now too)

Castle Crashers is an awesome little 'brawler' type game (think streets of rage or double dragon).

Decent game length, and some replayability.
