I was expecting an actual prototype movie and was met with something quite more interesting so well done. Seems if they took anything from the game it's just the clothes he wears.

Is it just me or were both of those trailers way too long? You basically don't even need to see the movie because everything is given away in the trailer.

Trailers are getting longer and longer. It used to be that trailers were 2 minutes. Now, they go on 3, 3 and a half minutes... they're basically showing 10% of the movie.

Also, that first trailer wasn't exactly a trailer, it was what the filmmakers put together and were showing investors to sell the movie.

Robot and Frank looks more original.

Prototype is derivative of Sci-Fi movies like Robocop, Terminator etc.

Is it just me or were both of those trailers way too long? You basically don't even need to see the movie because everything is given away in the trailer.

I saw a trailer for Shutter Island that basically gave away the plot twist. I thought at the time it had to have been the worst edit ever as I'm not that precient when it somes to picking endings. My wife can see those sort of things about 10 mins into a movie but I like to let it come when the director is ready to reveal. NOT IN THE BLOODY TRAILER!!!

Well its being "auctioned off", whatever that means, I assumed it was where they get people to give them money to finish it and distribute it or whatever. But that teaser is what they used to sell it.
