Bioware has today announced a release date for their upcoming DLC that will hopefully tie up any loose knots in their space RPG, Mass Effect 3. While a large pack of gamers were quite upset at the original endings that were featured, Bioware has taken it upon themselves to evolve the storyline beyond its original state, and better explain what exactly happened and why.
The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is a downloadable content pack that will expand upon the events at the end of Mass Effect 3. Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Extended Cut will include deeper insight to Commander Shepard’s journey based on player choices during the war against the Reapers.
The DLC will be free to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers, with the new content weighing in at a large 1.9 gigabytes so hopefully it contains a good amount of story.
The DLC will be available on June 26th and you can check out the
official website which tells you a bit more about what to expect including what save game you will need before playing.
