I need to choose a few electives to finish off, and am chasing recommendations from people on subjects that are interesting and or easy given that I've got a bit going on with work, etc at the moment.

Currently looking into

MGB306 - Independent Study. Which I apply for, then get some tailored stuff I just work on externally.

PUB611 - Risk Management, which is also external and just involves a few reports.

Probably need one more if anyone has any golden ideas?

I'm doing Bachelor of Business majoring in management.

Interested in: Sport, Psychology (though already done a fair bit), IT (though most classes seem to be pus), Design, Innovation

I have a Bachelor of Business - Marketing from QUT, and one of the best subjects i did was the capstone subject, Strategic Marketing, you 'run' a company within a simulated marketplace (using a computer program) essentially competing against other teams within your tutorial, by making various decisions based on report data etc. but it's group work heavy and probably wouldn't suit your situation. It's AMB359 if you're interested. I didn't find it too hard a subject, but 60% of assessment involves group work and you're making decisions for your 'company' every week, so lots of meeting up.

Can you pick up a language subject as an elective? That would probably be my choice, but i guess wouldn't necessarily be an easy subject either

oh, AMB335 - E-marketing Strategies was pretty easy from memory, and I don't think it has any group work, i think 60% of the work is based around building an 'e-marketing plan' for a client - which was largely bollocks, and then there is an exam.

Heh, I wish I had 'electives' we had 2 for 3rd and 4th year and you could chose from any 4. And as 4th year ones were 'Adv' and #2 of the ones in 3rd year, you really didn't have to think too hard about which electives to take.
