POSITION-SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data, Information and Knowledge
Level 3
Assist the ICT Support Officers with the administration of Council's IT applications and systems.
Assist with commissioning and maintaining new hardware and software.
Contribute to the review of systems documentation and procedures.
Provide first and second level technical solutions.

Level 4
Administration of Council's IT applications and systems.
Instigate review of systems documentation and procedures.
Assist with commissioning and maintaining new hardware and software.
Contribute to the review of systems documentation and procedures.
Provide first and second level technical solutions and assistance with third level technical solutions.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Possession of an appropriate tertiary qualification eg Certificate IV in IT and demonstrated experience in undertaking the functions of this position in a large corporate environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide effective technical support and training on hardware and software to staff at all levels and prepare relevant documentation associated with these.
3. Demonstrated ability to research, undertake problem analysis and provide resolution.
4. Demonstrated high level of customer service skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
6. Demonstrated attention to detail and an ability to effectively organise work load in order to meet deadlines.
7. Demonstrated ability to make prompt and reliable decisions within bounds of the responsibilities of the role.
