i hate that in perth a cucumber costs $4, tomatoes at $9.99/kilo, a 2 bedroom shoebox apartment 30 minutes from the city is $450,000, beer is $13/pint, lunch for 2 is a minimum $30 anywhere, coffee is $5 each its all fucked.

for games if you're paying full price and not importing from overseas or a CD key reseller, youre a nub.

just like if you decide to come and live in perth like i did.

Raven I too am more surprised that this thread hasn't been shut down and pointed at the relevant news post made on this site only days ago.

In other news, tell me any of you are surprised that games are more expensive here when you consider some of the expenses (and taxes) that the 'games on sale here' attract.

I will wait for the Government inquiry to tell me if games are too expensive or not. They tell what I can and can't play, so I'm sure they can tell me what is and isn't expensive.

Failing that, I'm sure Gerry will give me unbiased information about where I can get the best deals that are both fair for the consumer and the giant retailers!

No, I think we pay too little for everything. Australia is such a rich and bountiful country that we deserve to pay more for everything from games to toilet paper.

Stop being such a cheap ass whiny scrooge and do you civic duty of paying more.
