Auckland-based Grinding Gear Games have let us know that they're holding another Open Weekend for their action RPG Path of Exile this weekend, hoping to stress test their servers in preparation for an upcoming open beta.

The game will be open to all comers from May 11th (which equates to May 12th in Australia/New Zealand) through May 13th and will feature the freshly-revealed new player class the Shadow:

The Shadow is our Dexterity/Intelligence character class, which is available from the public weekend onwards. He prefers to use fast-hitting weapons such as daggers or claws to dart in and out of battle, while laying Traps or Remote Mines and controlling the flow of combat with deadly spells.
