Pretty much exactly what it sounds like. From the MSNBC photo blog:
A bear that wandered into Williams Village dorm at the University of Colorado in Boulder falls from a tree after being tranquilized by Colorado wildlife officials.
University of Colorado police spokesman Ryan Huff said the bear was likely 1-3 years old and weighed somewhere between 150-200 pounds.
Obvious meme material, though nothing I can find worth reposting yet. Pretty amazing; not sure how populated that area is but it reminded me of Sopranos and how weird it would be to live in a place where bears can just randomly appear out of nowhere. Unless you have one of those rocks that keeps bears away.
I just had a bash on skyrim and there I was sheathing my sword after slaying a dragon, and bang a fucking bear. Not as good as the guy texting away on his phone, looked up and shit, bear.
Oh come on, it's a bear falling from what, 1m? 1.5? People fall from that height all the time in funny youtube videos and no one goes awwww that poor human. The news guy said the bear is fine. Move on.

That's because they are usually conscious when it happens and can stick their arms out to protect their necks from breaking, unlike the bear in the trampoline vid. Funny you had to have this pointed out to you.
Fail whoop. That would be probably 2m if not 3m in the air @ max height after trampoline bounce. Pretty sure it also hit the ground nearly head first with nothing breaking its fall. When a person hurts themselves i think its funny cause its often self inflicted (intentional or not) but i still flinch.
Thanks heaps Whoop! I remember this app now - will grab and get my head around it - so I will be back in roughly 6 months, minus the lack of polish! :p
