The demo is out on consoles now but the PC version will have to wait a but later :'(

I gave it a go on my PS3 and it was good, nothing special but good. The bullet cam is really good when you get a good shot, I shot a guys balls off, no joke.

Yeah, Old Conroy would have a heart attack if he saw this.

I enjoyed the first game years ago, so I'll give this a go.

^ Interesting, I bought the first game a couple years ago for $2 and did not enjoy it.

The first one was crappy but my brother liked it. This is not a AAA game but it should be ok for the bullet cam and the shooting of nazis.

Yea the first one was not mind blowingly awesome, but I still finished it and enjoyed it.

lol at the bullet damage x-rays. Does not bode well for an Australian rating.

Consider it educational, ballistics, kinetics and such.

Exactly, Trauma. Like how my bullet passed through a soldiers leg and destroyed his balls and continued on. Another time I fluked a shot, hitting a guy's stick grenade.

Really, Xray of what the bullet does?
This is one of the rare times I'll side with "It isn't necessary" for a game.

As a training mechanism for what medics have to treat? Perhaps (if it was accurate).
Still, not something I'd prefer to be made available to both young and impressionable minds.

They actually toned down the game to the current level during internal testing. A couple of testers said they could not play it because it was too graphic so they have it down to its current level. I would actually like to have seen what it was like before. I wonder if they have left in those more graphic bits buried in the data files up on release.

It's a video game. If you can't tell the difference between the two, I think your kids have more problems than seeing some fake skeleton get shot. Hell you'd see more on the news.

Sniper elite 1 wasnt bad. I liked the difficulty of nailing shots taking all factors into equation. I expected same thing from that 'sniper ghost warrior' but they simply chucked a red circle where the bullet would land taking away the gravity, wind etc difficulty.

Didnt play much of the game though cause it was flawed and pretty damn ugly @ the time i was playing it.

Since when has making a fun game been about whats necessary? Its not necessary that I could finish my opponent by tearing him in half and holding up the bloody pieces while gibs and intestines fell out, but it sure made Mortal Kombat a lot more awesome!
