So far I'm only noticing it on this forum. I'm using Firefox and twice my computer has hard locked while that was showing down in the bottom left corner. Like it was transferring something. Had to hit the reset button.

Anyone know what it is doing?

imrworlwide.com tracks browsing habits by loading a java applet on your machine which enables them to track quite detailed information about your usage. Google it, there's plenty there.

If you are concerned about your privacy, there are a number of things you can do. Block *.imrworldwide.com, turn of java support in your browser, or add a list of entries into the hosts file."

It is massively unlikely that it is responsible for locking up your computer - no more than visiting any other webpage would be.

As always, we ask that you don't block that sort of stuff and if you are having problems let us know so we can pass it on to the technical team that is responsible for it (and remove it temporarily if it's causing problems).

Edit: I unlocked this again after re-reading it and not being able to remember why I locked it in the first place. Apologies for the confusion.

But for future reference, if a thread is locked or deleted, please don't just repost something - if you think its unfair or want to continue the discussed ASK US FIRST (using that page, don't PM me or anyone else).
