Hi Guys,

was wondering if anyone here is playing Star Trek online? I recently downloaded it since its free to play.. seems... ok.. the space combat seems less fluid than EVE, though that might just be cause im in a noob ship.

anyway its clearly a game that is much more fun to play with others so I wanted to see if anyone here is playing and is in a guild looking for new (n00b) members...

Hope this does not count as advertising.

I still play Star Trek Online. I am a member of the largest Australian/New Zealand Fleet in game. We have both factions covered.

I played the beta, and didn't mind it actually...

Then, when Game AU (think EB Games but purple and not as 'accessible') tanked I picked up a Collectors Ed for <$10.

I'll probably hit it up in the next week or so and see what's changed since it went F2P.
