Hey fellas.
Anyone know if Farcry 3 is region locked? Found a russian site that sells it for $19, but wasn't sure.

$19? Dont think so. Havent seen any that cheap. Also, there are retail keys and steam keys. Retail keys are cheaper but wont give you a steam version.

Read the conditions of the purchase. The cdkey sites generally tell you if the key is region free or not. If it doesn't say, look elsewhere as you generally won't get a refund for this sort of stuff.

Game is up and running on uplay.

Get key from yuplay.ru for $19, get the game here:
http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/battlefield-3-origin/farcry3_downloadmanager.zip

run the game's EXE, moves you to Uplay to put in the cdkey and download the updates. away you go

^ may as well just pirate it if you have to do tricks to get the game assets for a super-cheap RU copy.

(assuming you're buying the game just for multi-player access)

If you want to pay more unnecessarily that's up to you. I just pay to get the key and activate it on Uplay, and get in on co-op action. $19 for a new release game, can't beat that.
