yeah had a play today here and ive found some bugs.. when it was working well though it was actually pretty solid gameplay.


-Need option for sorting server by name/players/map/type/ping
-AA needs options improvement, even using CCC to control AA it still lacks good image quality and smoothness @ 1920x1080. (ATI 5970)
-Ping display does not work in server browser
-Disabling motion blur does not save on game exit and must be changed every time starting the game, infact it does not work at all and motion blur is always on, extremely frustrating. edit: After further game play, graphics options do not change at all ever thus rendering me to play at 20fps max if on ultra. 36 if i look at the ground. (i7930, 12gb ram 5970 dual gpu)
-pushing escape (for menu) during game causes massive frame rate loss down to 5FPS
-sometimes the logging in/sync account box stays up even after it has logged in.
-connection to host timeouts frequently (im in germany)
-have random black flicker in game menus that lasts for less than 1 second.
-Usually cant play the game due to server timeouts or failing to sync.

This sucks, I signed up for the beta about 4-6 months ago. I'd of hoped this would secure me some alpha/beta access, anyone know if they're giving away keys soon?

I got the invite. I played through the tutorial level which was good, then I checked the server browser and saw that there are no servers in Australia. Haven't even bothered trying to play it, because the lag will undoubtedly be terrible.

I was playing on a West Coast USA server with no lag at all last night.

There are no Aussie servers that i could find

Movement definitely monged - very rubber bandy, and the shots are affected if you are playing against someone who uses a lot of dodges. You need to aim a tiny bit ahead.

Seems like a fun game, needs local servers.

Played a couple of times now, one server was awesome no lag was little bit of ping difference but was fun, another server i went on was extremely laggy, i think its pretty server hungry

Please GET ON THEIR FORUMS or whatever and tell them that. Without that feedback they won't know there's a problem.

Yea, I already filled a beta survey and made specific mention of the need for local servers several times.

also remember you really need to set up your mech otherwise you will get dominated..
