Not sure if anyone knows about this or not but there is a Defense Grid 2 Kickstarter. Right now they are just above the $240,000 mark with 4 days to go.

If you have not played Defense Grid it's an absolutely solid and awesome tower defense game.



I'm a little surprised this wasn't a news item.

I'm a bit confused as to why they need a kickstarter, I thought the first one did ok.

yeah it seems very odd that this is being kickstarted

is it coming to the point where all the profits from a game doesn't go into the next title?
