DLC for consoles with the extra content has been announed but no date given



i am a massive fanboy of this game, it is unlike anything most people have played.

yeah i don't understand how people can play a game that is designed to piss you off.

And lets not forget what the PC version gets over console!!

-PvP arena matchmaking
-1080p resolution
-Graphical options
-Frame rate lock can be set . (While console rates can go down to 5fps in some areas, the PC will have its FR locked at 30) This also means the frame rate could theoretically go as high as your pc can handle.
- DLC two months before console gamers.

yeah i don't understand how people can play a game that is designed to piss you off.

It's actually not designed to piss you off at all. It's just hard.

If you sit down and start playing it and get good, you'll end up thinking it's easy.

There aren't many "cheap" kills in the game and even the ones there are (I havn't seen them myself though, going off hear-say) are apparently avoidable if you know they're coming / are quick enough.

It's very satisfying when you can parry 1 shot mobs that destroyed you at the start of the game (Black knights, anyone?)

it all depends how how many times you die :]

there isn't any grinding required like diablo 3 or a mmo or something

it also depends on how good you are at these type of games in the first place, i was and still am pretty shit when i first started but i am getting better and am surprising myself getting through some spots relatively easily

it didn't help that my first character was kind of useless too, i put 60 hours into my first character got like maybe half way (with the help of another guy off qgl)

i have put 32 hours into my second character which is a better build and i am 3/4 of the way through the game (just got into tomb of giants and got smoked by the first skeleton)

if you think it sounds interesting give it a go, that was what got me into it reading a thread on here about it just after it was released. and i can confidently say it is one of my favourite games ever, when i stopped playing to play diablo 3 it took me about a week to get used to normality of other games like diablo 3 because it doesn't have the sense of achievement when you finally beat a boss like darks souls

It is still $39.99 on Greenmangaming, cheaper if you have a voucher and it is a steam game so you get a key to enter into Steam when released.

Far better than giving Steam double the price.
