Perception Studios acquired the license for a Stargate video game and made great headway in its development before the whole thing fell apart circa 2006. But a few copies of the unfinished beta are in circulation.

I had Stargate Resistance, just a basic FPS and it was great, unfortunately they had to shut down due to the licensing problems with MGM.

Online shooter Stargate Resistance will wave the white flag on 15th January 2011. The move comes weeks after MGM stripped beleaguered creator Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment of the Stargate license.

Stargate Alliance was shut down due to the company failing, same with Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment (filed chapter 11 bankruptcy) and was also Stargate Worlds (MMO) never made it past Alpha testing. MGM pulled all licenses to anything Stargate, thus stopping the final 2 straight to DVD movies that had been written and cast, and about to start filming.
