I have no idea how this happened, but I must play this game any chance I have. In this casual (ha!) phone game the object is to build a large skyscraper with a mix of residential and commercial floors, random little dudes will populate your apartments and you find jobs for them, there is a degree of management with choosing the right jobs for the right person and keeping your stores stocked with goods to sell. It does appear the android version is lagging behind the iPhone version, and doesn't have the same full set of features.
I very much dislike these games that have stupid wait times hoping that you get impatient and buy 'coins' or whatever they ask for. It ruins what could otherwise be a great little game.
I remember when these types of games were massively popular on facebook. I used timing attacks against them to get my GF billions of credits for farmville and crap like it. Would rather play WoW and socialize and achieve something than play this type of game. :/
I started off playing all the time, but after a while it lost its appeal.
I have 62 levels though... Every now and then(once a week, if that) i'll get bored enough to restock everything....
Yeah like everyone else said, its fun for a while but if you have anything going on upstairs you'll hit a very sudden and hard wall and never want to touch it again.
I got to about level 34 and got the shits with having to restock every 5 minutes, the final nail came when for some reason I had log back in and forgot my password, that was the final straw for me and I've stopped cold turkey.
Yeah, I was played Tiny Tower on my iPad. Took me ages but I have a 110ish level tower with the end game lift (lots and lots of tips and people in their preferred job). Only played it for 5 minutes at a time 3 or so times a day too... but i did play it for months so I guess I got my money's worth.
Been playing Soulcraft THD on my Transformer Prime, heaps of fun, and works super well with a tablet. Basically a top down wave by wave monster slashing. It's in beta at the moment, but it's pretty fun.
I'm finding tiny tower to be pretty boring after only about 10 floors, it's just the same old boring thing over and over it seems, and takes too long to earn currency (stupid upsell model)
I obviously suck at games. I got it, got to maybe level 5, couldn't get any further without waiting 12 weeks for another credit. Uninstalled.
For this game i don't think you need credits, and by level 5 i had 50 of them without spending a cent..
Eorl, plug a controller like a xbox controller in. The game doesn't work well on a tablet, but it runs well (high fps and feels good) once your hands are off the screen and using a controller.
Then get your mini hdmi cable, and plug it into your tv.

yet here I am 20 floors later still chippin away at it here and there
I've reached 74 since starting this thread, but the whole game is slowing down rather badly on my Nexus One :(last edited by scuzzy at 20:51:06 22/Mar/12
yeh I have to restart mine every couple of days cos the elevator gets chunky, makes it pointless to have upgraded it otherwise
Not to go off-topic, but Angry Birds Space is friggin awesome. I haven't played the series for awhile, but this one is really interesting with the physics.
maybe they did go there then
it popped up over the screen, had a continue button and when I tapped it, it just lagged up and then the app crashed
having horrid performance issues with it today, and now the phone is rebooting randomly as well. feels a bit warm, maybe had it on the charger too long or something
yeh I thought that at first too, it felt like a big con to get you to spend real money on in-game credits
but now I'm crankin along fine without payin a dime
