Finally getting back into BF3 since Skyrim, Batman and Assassins Creed collectively ruined my life. Such an awesome game.

Lucky it is an individual game and a team isn't counting on you to help them beat the opposition

you sound as bad as the 12 year old kids in the game nats, they wouldn't have put a recon class in there had they not wanted people to use it
I was sniping (and cleaning up) from the main land except old mate stole my jet, so I took some pot shots

yeah i was the same as most people just played engineer at the start but you learn to tolerate not having the RPG

my favourite past time recently has been C4'ing tanks as the support class

the medic class is good to use because it has good range rifles, yeah it doesn't have any anti tank capabilities but you learn to keep your head down and if you survive and encounter with a tank you can heal yourself.

it gets pretty boring pretty quick if you just keep using the same class imo.

the range of the engineers carbines have been giving me the shits lately

teq you've played for nearly 80hrs and only level 29? wtf.

camping on the antenna in caspian and on the tower in firestorm would take up a good percentage of that time

I don't see how people can get long range kills like teqs one. From that distance, looking down the scope it's nearly impossible to see anyone. So how exactly do you spot someone and kill them?

nah on that server I was watching the guy run from the hangar to the hill, could see him the whole way

M98 + 12x zoom, he's only a small dot and you're really taking a guess at where to aim because you aim so far above them and hope the bullet drops etc

I'm playing a lot more engineer these days, I still get the shits occasionally and setup my campsite but I do enjoy a good RPG fight

you can sit 1.3 KM away on a boat taking potshots, with your motion detector and spawn point doing fuck all as your team gets raped by enemy snipers as they try to cross the water ways, sure.

Or you can be up in the action making team progress. Taking out their snipers, providing spawn for your team and cover for your squad and being generally useful, moving up with them, defending their progress.

Nice shot though, 10x better than my 150 odd meters.

Are any of you guys running a GTX 560 Ti and crashing constantly still? I know its not my pc (ie me being retart) and it's the card, have googled all over an I'm not the only one with the issue.
It pisses me off, wondering if anyone here got it sussed?

Yeah i get whitescreens and heating which is defs heat related. Gtx470. Took off side of case now it all good

just signig to say my 6870 runs it like a boss

I have a 560ti HAWK, it runs almost everything great.

BF3 for some reason causes issues with it unless I underclock it a little. I can still run max settings just slightly underclocked, I also changed the fan speed curve so that the fan runs faster at lower temperatures. Ever since slightly underclocking the card it has behaved perfectly in BF3.

Every other game it doesn't need to do that. I haven't tried the latest drivers yet tho.

I have a 560Ti and don't have any problems with playing BF3 for hours.

Scoobs, did you try a slight underclock?
