Not many games left out there that want to charge me for both a copy of the game AND a subscription.

A few years back I would've said $35 for the latest version of WoW was a bargain, but now I have so many alternatives I just don't care.

Apples and Oranges. I paid ~$35 for my copy of skyrim and I can play it as much or as little as I want without worrying about falling behind the rest of my guild or whatever. As opposed to paying ~$240 a year for doing "the exact same thing".

Actually Free to Play is becoming more widely accepted and common. And more successful to.

And I found Skyrim to be much more rewarding then WoW. Yes it's a singleplayer game, yes I'm having fun, no I don't feel like it's a grind compared to WoW, and yes it has better gameplay, better crafting and better quests. Blatant fnaboyism/trolling just goes to show how much you have actiblizz's cock deep in your throat.

and holy hell, the pvp is such a snorefest - they can't even find balance with the same classes on each faction that's how lazy they are

Then Cata is only $18 bucks.
Pretty sweet for those wanting to get into WoW.
