Xfire Video Contest

Lately, those of us at S2 Games have been enjoying the videos from our community that are popping up on our Xfire page. To show our appreciation, we will be rewarding free full accounts to five cinematographers. One account will be given for the video with the most “Cools” (determined by the community), one account will be for the favorite video of the S2 Staff, and three will be rewarded to three random video creators.



For your chance to win, you will need to download Xfire and launch it before starting up HoN. Then you will have to join the Official Heroes of Newerth Community on Xfire. Finally, you will need to start recording videos of your gameplay. Once you have your favorite video, upload it to the video section of the Community with the title “HoN Video Competition: (Video Title).” Only one entry per person!



The deadline for videos is Friday, November 20, 2009, so get playing and recording! We will announce the five winners on the Clan News section of our Xfire page on Monday, November 23, 2009.

Ohhh, ok I'll talk about HoN:

Fun, except for two major problems:

1) the vast majority of games there's always some tosser who disconnects.
2) the vast majority of games there's always 1-2 wankers on your team that are totally useless.

2) I can work with, but when half or more of the 5v5 games turn into 4v5, 3v5 or even 5v5 to 4v5 to 4v4 to 3v4 from people dropping.
Its a bit shit.

Stats and win/loss ratio is more like : Who's won the connection roulette the most.

I haven't had as much bad luck as you mephz. The win/loss ratio really shits me off because that's all people care about, so they'll go out of their way to kill someone even if it means the game is lost.

Also, scout is bullshit hero.

Problem with PSR is the fact that it forces you to play with friends or the higher you are the more you're punished.. if i join a random APEM game for some face rolling, when they AB i get all the rejects on my side simply because i have a high psr.. making me lose every time.

Before reset i was like 72% 2.3kdr.. just playing with 2-3 mates normally, now it's like 50% kdr 2.1kdr simply because i'm pugging more then i play with mates. (1700 rated with the new psr, 1920 old)

Not playing all that much because as I said earlier this thread, the number of uneven games makes me rage.
Think after the reset I was 8 wins 2 losses or something; then not even joking, had about 4 games in a row that were all 3v5 after two people dropped and other team refused to remake :/

IMO they should implement, that if one team is 2+ members down, and -they- pass a restart (within say 15 minutes), the other team gets no say.

I've been on the winning team to many fucking times just to have them concede before we've even got thair rax down. It's annoying as all fuck. Even while im losing i still consider myself to be learning how to play better and how to defend better etc.

It all depends on the skill level of the people your playing with, their communication and teamwork level and most of all what heroes are on the field.
