Ordering Games marking PAL / US Version

I am thinking of ordering two games from PlayAsia - La Noire (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dh-49-en-70-3r5x-4-6.html) and Gears of War Triple Pack (http://www.play-asia.com/Gears_of_War_Triple_Pack/paOS-13-71-dh-49-en-70-44jk-4-6.html) and another game which has not been released in Australia but will have DLC available soon. They are marked as US Version and PAL so they should play on my Australian console. Should there be any problems in using the Rockstar Pass on Xbox Live Marketplace Australia with this version of La Noire to get the extra cases or any problems getting the DLC for the other game? Will I have to pay for or set up a American Xbox Live Account to get any DLC for these games?

Some games are. Some games are not. Depends on what the publisher decides to do.

the games can be, and it will say on Play Asia, don't know about the accounts though for his DLC.

problem might be if the game is recognised as a US version and your account is AU it might not let you have access to the DLC because of classification laws.

have you compared pricing to http://www.ozgameshop.com/ they seem to be cheaper these days.

Yeah those games should play fine on your xbox, but as stated previously you may have issues with DLC's. Though i've got a few NTSC games and had no problems with DLC's so far.

But if you're specifically after PAL games let me know cause i may be able to help you out.

If the games are PAL versions, then you should be fine for DLC (as long as the game is actually released here). If they're US versions, then you'll prolly need to make a US account.

I was able to use the PAL DLC for my US version of Saints Row 2. But that game is region free.

Had a look at ozgameshop - three games for around $150 AUD is better value that the same at ozgameshop for two.

Did you take in to account shipping from play-asia? ozgameshop is free shipping, play-asia generally isn't.
