I thought the top gear track was in this game, if so wouldn't this challenge make more sense on it?

What settings do you have on if any scooby? I had TC 5 and ABS 1 everything else off for my time.. Might turn them all off. Need some standard settings for everyone imo.

makes me wonder, if the celebs are going to be at an advantage now that they can practice the track on GT5 :]

You can't set a time and then keep trying and cross your time out and set a new one! Thats not how the star in the reasonably priced car works!

Actually they have had a couple of the celebs go back for a 2nd try. They let the real celebs practice for ages with the stig in the car before letting them loose.

1.08.183 with controller, i stopped after 5 laps. my first lap was a 1.08.5, but i keep on stuffing up atleast on of the corners on all subsiquent tries.

Also, why not chose a more interesting map? you can keep your foot to the floor for like 80% of the corners in that track.

sif use driving assists at all you nubs (except driving line :P)

driving line is bad too fpot, makes your brain switch off and causes you to rely on it !

43.414 2nd lap with the lotus. this is an awesome track with a rwd car :)

1:06.579 on the first one with a controller.

1st challenge controller

1:06:177 after 3 laps default settings on suzuka east, 1st lap was 1:06:957 so didn't improve to much

2nd challenge controller

43:129 default settings after about 7 attempts to not spin out on the back S's. Seriously hate driving the lotus, which makes the 2nd Top gear special hard :(

how far through is everyone?

im lvl 22 spec A - 3rd race in the extreme section - got golds in everything but the race car championship and the oldschool race car in the proffessional

lvl 7 spec b - gold in all beginer and working way through amateur - its pretty boring tho and i am only doing it while i watch some tv shows


is anyone else getting some wierd problem where if u have a massive crash then try and re-enter the pack it takes ages to get the revs going? or is that like a catch-up after big crash function or something

i'm like level 11 or 12 in a spec, level 4 in b spec i'm not going to bother with b-spec when i found out you don't need to complete ot to complete the game

i just need to find a suitable old school jap car to finish the beginner section and a fucking truck thing to finish the ameture section all with gold

smashed the nostalgia supercars with my blown ford mach 1 mustang, it's a bit of a pig to drive without racing slicks but it looks fucking tough
