Anyone gunna get this? I never played the other games but the demo was awesome (don't play these types of games much). The gore was a lolfest as well.

Where to buy from do you reckon? Not going the online option because I want to play this weekend.

I just read up on wikipedia about the story behind the first two parts, figure that should prime me enough to play the third one. As much as I'm tempted to get that pack with the first 2 games, I know theres no way I'll have time to play through them.

From what I can gather its pretty much:

- Kratos betrayed by Ares, kills Ares, replaces Ares
- He doesn't fit in with the other gods because hes such an enormous cock, and Zeus tricks him into giving up his powers and getting him killed.
- He comes back from the dead, kills some chicks that let him time travel or change the past or something.
- He goes back to when the gods were fighting the titans, and brings the titans with him to the current time, and uses them to attack Mt Olympus which is where number 3 seems to start.

How long do the first two take to complete? I heard the second one was pretty long

Khel: A while. I think from memory I took around 14-15hrs to finish it on normal? Slightly less for God of War 1. So if you start now, you'll be right for Thursday :)

woah 20 hrs? the speed runs are a little over 2 hrs for gow1 and a little over 3 hrs for gow2.

first time through, some of the puzzles can stump you.. they are not over the top crazy.. just can get a little frustrating at times... i remember one puzzle in god of war 2 i think it was where you had to push a crate in a room with a timed spike floor.. took me ages to get it down perfect.

I've only played a bit of #2, but I can say it was one of the best games I've ever played, just in terms of epic'ness and refined gameplay.

Just went to carindale after uni to get some rechargeables... anyway went to EB, Dicksmith, bigw, JB - they were all waiting until tomorrow.

I traded in 3 games for it this morning at JB. I also noticed they were selling it for $88. Cheapest I've seen so far.
