ALIENS VERSUS PREDATOR 2 is the highly-anticipated sequel to Rebellion's acclaimed 1999 multi-species, first-person shooter. Utilising the power of the LithTech 2.5 engine, Monolith Productions are delivering another terrifying three-way foray into the universe that is ALIENS VS PREDATOR.

ALIENS VERSUS PREDATOR 2 picks up not long after the events of ALIENS. An unscrupulous scientist named Eisenberg makes an expedition to the planet Acheron to investigate the mysterious Derelict spacecraft. His team are attacked and wiped out, but not before Eisenberg discovers the whereabouts of an ancient Alien Hive on the world designated as "LV-1201".

Eisenberg arrives on LV-1201 and establishes a biological research facility in order to study the Alien creatures. However, it is not long before the Xenomorphs rise up and break free - going on the rampage through the facility. A platoon of Colonial Marines is despatched to contain the chaos, rescue the survivors, and put a stop to Eisenberg's operations. But the Aliens are only one of their problems, for LV-1201 is also a favoured hunting ground for the Predators - who have long stalked Alien prey in the nearby volcanic plateau.

The convergence of the species is about commence once again for another terrifying battle!
