Developed in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox, Angry Birds Rio features the animated stars of the studio's comedy adventure film, RIO.

The full version of Angry Birds Rio features two episodes and 60 levels, and new episodic updates based on the motion picture RIO will be provided throughout the year. New playable characters, new achievements and unlockable secrets are also included.

In Angry Birds Rio, animal smugglers have kidnapped the Angry Birds and taken them to magical city of Rio, where they escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture, RIO. Angry Birds Rio pairs the gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the highly-anticipated film.
