As we continue to process the sensory overload that was the 2011 E3 expo, today's feature is one that a few of you might be interested in -- our hands-on impressions of the mutliplayer component of the hugely anticipated Battlefield 3.

That's right, multiplayer BF3 was playable at E3 and there was now way that we were going to go travel that way without getting in on that. Read on to find out why you're probably going to have to upgrade your PC in time for October 25th 2011.

Continuing our extensive post-show coverage of this year's E3, we've got some Fallout: New Vegas love for you, with a short hands-on that revealed much of what is going to set this game apart from Fallout 3, which should excite fans of both the last game, and the games prior to that.

We also have a video interview coming where we get even more information, but in the meantime, our hands-on preview will give you plenty to digest in the wait to October when the game is finally unleashed and we can all get our "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" on.

Our videos have taken a hit over the past two days due to some technical issues, but that hasn't slowed us down, and today we have a video interview with Vigil Games' Joe Madureira, who you may remember we spoke to last year to talk about the studio's stellar first effort, Darksiders.

Putting War and Ruin aside, Joe chats to us about the team's next big project, Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium Online with a couple of awesome guests behind us. It's a bit of a quick video, but for anyone who can't watch it, we've also put together a full transcript. Check out the video here or embedded below.

As we clamour down our mammoth list of E3 games we saw, we've put a few of the major stand-outs at pole-position. Today we have the stunning Dead Space 2, which took a stack of awards at the show, as well as basically every nomination known to E3 (and man), but with good reason.

The game kicks off as a true sequel to Dead Space, and we're once again in the Engineering Rig of Isaac Clarke. There's a lot of familiarity, but also plenty of new stuff, which we've put together for you here today. The game was an absolute stand-out, and my personal pick of the floor.

Chief among the big games we saw at E3 this year was the much anticipated, and very precarious Rage from id Software. id have a legion of fans who can't really look beyond Doom or Quake, so they're watching the game like a hawk, while the rest of the industry is keen to see what they can do with a new IP, more than 10 years after their last effort.

We sat through a 25-minute hands-off live demo of the game running on Xbox 360 (and looking incredible, I might add) and have compiled a comprehensive and in-depth preview for you outlining everything we saw along with a handful of fresh new screens (some of which we've posted below). We also have a video interview with Design Director, Matt Hooper coming soon, so stay tuned.

We have another video interview up from E3, this time talking to Mortal Kombat's Senior Producer, Hans Lo.

While we didn't grab a mammoth amount of information from him about everything everyone is asking (they're all being very tight-lipped), there's still plenty of stuff to eat up. In case you haven't seen it yet, the reboot for Mortal Kombat was one of the show's stand-out titles and and it's looking absolutely amazing. You can check out the debut trailer right here, and for those of you who don't want to stream our interview, you can check out the transcript here.

At an E3 where there was so much emphasis on casual gaming, and opening up the industry to traditionally non-gamer types, there was one game that stood as the absolute antithesis to this movement, and instead utterly embraced the concept of hardcore gaming, and it came from a pure game-driven company, Valve.

Portal 2 was our pick of the show for its complexity, its humour, its visual flair and its pure gaming heart. This is not a casual affair, by any measure, and anyone who saw it resonated the same sort of response we did: "ouch, that hurt my head".

Beginning our roll-out of post-show previews and features, we've got a modern look at a classic game recreated. Now, this isn't Rare's GoldenEye. You need to keep that in mind. However, it's as close as anyone has ever come to touching on that game's awesomeness, and while it certainly wasn't the best looking game on the show floor, anyone with fond memories of GoldenEye are not going to be disappointed - I certainly wasn't.

This is a Wii exclusive (for the time-being), utilises the Classic Controller and perfectly recaptures the multiplayer of the original, in a modern setting. So Wii owners are definitely in for a treat.

An in-depth look at the gameplay and story of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood fell out of E3 recently. Narrated by Jean-Francois Boivin, Associate Producer on the game, the trailer sets the scene and shows off some sexy intro cinematic and then leaps into the game, touching on several of the new features and bells and whistlers gamers can expect to see when the game drops around Christmas.

You can watch the streamable version below or download the HD version (384mb) for the full experience. The trailer is accompanied by some pretty screenshots.

Microsoft have made public the E3 2010 trailer for the slightly anticipated Gears of War 3. Cliffy B sets the scene and the gameplay footage commences in typically gory and graphic Gears style (mature audiences only, yo), showing some female Gears, the latest Unreal engine technology and the new mutating enemies. You can download the 256mb 720p version or stream it below.

A couple of new screenshots have been released as well; nothing to write home about really, but you can check them out on our Gears game page.
